This catalogue presents the collection of Limoges enamels of Hubert de Givenchy. Formerly displayed in the famous armoire d’Apollon by André-Charles Boulle, these artworks represented the greatest ensemble of the past few decades. They were then sold to Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint-Laurent, and the collection was eventually scattered following his famous auction at Christie’s in 2009.
