In October 1964, a memorable exhibition was presented at gallery Jacques Kugel, which was then located at 7 rue de la Paix in Paris: entitled “The Golden Age of Strasbourg goldsmith’s art”, it was curated in collaboration with Hans Haug, the charismatic emeritus director of the Strasbourg Museum. The exhibition included numerous loans from both private and public collections. This small catalogue was published at the time of the exhibition and is a testament to the collaboration between the art dealer and the art historian.
199 items described, 53 illustrations B/W hors-texte, and containing a catalogue of the marks from Strasbourg.
